Women from all over the Tampa Bay area had an opportunity to support local women-owned businesses at the Working Women of Tampa Bay’s event: THINK PINK Women’s Boutique & Expo.  Sickle Hunter Financial Advisors located near downtown Tampa had a booth and was very excited to see all the support.  Women (and a few men) were able to enjoy an evening of eating, drinking and relaxing while shopping at these locally owned businesses in the Tampa Bay Area.  Approximately 50 venders set up booths at the Shriner Activity Center for this event, including Sickle Hunter Financial Advisors, Darren Peña Salon & Spa in Carrollwood, and local radio station Play 98.7. Over 200 guests showed their support at this event and we were able to raise $500 for Shriner’s Hospital Tampa Bay.

We are very excited about the Brighter Tomorrow’s elegant evenings events coming up over the next several months.  Elegant evenings are held around Tampa Bay and are coordinated by volunteers in an effort to raise money to help those who are victims of domestic violence.  The organization is the fundraising arm that distributes their funds to charities that directly support this noble cause.  Karen Zicht from Sickle Hunter Financial Advisors is an active member and volunteer in the organization.  Karen along with many of Tampa Bay’s prominent individuals will be in attendance.  If you are interested you should visit their website to learn more.  Brightertomorrow.com
